Lighthouse Inn, owned and operated by the Stone Family since 1938, is a 68 room, full service oceanfront resort located in West Dennis on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The Inn employs seasonal workers from mid-May to mid-October and offers a opportunity to interact with guests and other staff from many different places with diverse interests. The beach location is the perfect setting to enjoy social time outside of work and to create long lasting friendships.
Lighthouse Inn is a seasonal resort with two different focuses of business. May, June, September, and October, Lighthouse Inn is host to corporate meetings, banquets, weddings, and other group functions. In July and August the Inn hosts small groups, functions and weddings, but caters mostly to social guests who are vacationing.

Please download an application from below, fill it out completely, including telephone numbers for past employers and references, sign it, and return it to Lighthouse Inn. Please note that an interview is required.
The season will begin in May and continue through mid-October (end of season). Positions are available for (1) the entire season, (2) from Memorial Day through Labor Day or through the end of the season, (3) from late June through Labor Day or through the end of the season.
Positions Available for Season:
Dining Room - short season or entire season
Kitchen - short season or entire season
Front Desk - short season or entire season
Night Auditor - entire season only
Bellman/bartender (it's a combined position) - entire season only
Pool Snack Bar - short season only
Children's Program - short season only
Because of fluctuations in the amount and type of business during the season, it is possible that staff members may be asked to assist in another department or job position periodically. Flexibility and a cheerful attitude are expected and appreciated.
Housing
For those applicants who are able to work until mid-October, housing may be available through Lighthouse Inn. Housing is limited and available only to full season (May/June through October) staff members on a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that this housing is co-ed and provided in one of our 5-6 bedroom houses with 10-12 people of varying ages, habits and interests. All rooms are double occupancy.
Seasonal rentals are available throughout the Mid-Cape area. Contact local real estate agents for assistance. The real estate classified section of the local newspaper, The Cape Cod Times, can be viewed at www.capecodonline.com. Please secure housing for the season before submitting your employment application to Lighthouse Inn.
Hours and Wages
Lighthouse Inn complies with the wage and hour regulations of the state of Massachusetts and the Federal government. The Inn is a seasonal property and work hours will fluctuate each week according to occupancy levels. Work shifts, hours and wages will vary from job to job. All employees are paid weekly on Fridays. Wages are based on hourly rates depending on position.
Travel Information
Cape Cod is located 85 miles south of Boston and 85 miles north of Providence, RI. Southwest airlines serves TF Green Airport in Providence. Most other major airlines serve Boston's Logan Airport. Ground transportation from the Boston airport is available directly to Cape Cod by Plymouth/Brockton Bus Lines and from Providence by Bonanza Bus Lines.
