Can I have we have our ceremony at the Lighthouse Inn?
Yes we can arrange for an oceanfront ceremony. There is a $700 fee to have the ceremony on site. The fee includes 60 chairs set on the lawn overlooking the water. Should you require additional seating additional chairs can be rented. We add an additional 30 minutes to the reception to accommodate the ceremony. The ceremony can be moved inside in case of inclement weather. We will assist with the coordination ad logistics as they relate to the ceremony.
What are the times for weddings?
Fridays: 6:00 to 11:00

How is the bar handled?
The Bar may be handled a number of ways: It is always based on consumption.
OPEN: You are responsible for any and all drinks.
LIMITED: The open bar is limited by time or selections.
TIME: Open for the cocktail hour then switching to cash.
SELECTIONS: Open for beer and wine, with a cash bar for liquor.
CASH BAR: Your guests pay cash for all their drinks, you have no responsibility.
COMBINATION: Any combination of the various options that you are comfortable with.
DOLLAR LIMIT: When we reach a certain dollar limit we switch to cash.
What is the deposit policy?
A $100 deposit is required within 7 days of booking a reception date. A second deposit of $500 will then be required within 14 days of reserving a reception date. All deposits are non-refundable 14 days after the booking date. A non-refundable deposit of $2400 is due 9 months prior to the event. This is followed by a final deposit of 85% of the expected balance, which is due 60 days prior to your reception. The final balance is payable the day of the reception.
What are the extra charges and fees?
Our wedding package includes your meal, complete use of the facility and complimentary cheese and fresh vegetable crudités for your guests upon arrival. There are no room rental charges. All prices are subject to 7% Massachusetts meals tax and 17% service charge
May we block rooms for out of town guests?
Hotel rooms are available on a first come first served basis. Deposits are required to reserve the rooms. You are not required to rent any rooms. You may call reservations to check availability.
What about other vendors?
We are happy to suggest other vendors for the flowers, cake, ceremony service, entertainment, transportation ,makeup, photography. Of course if you have someone else in mind that is not on our suggested vendor list that is fine.
Do you provide china, linen, tables, chairs?
Yes we will provide the china, silver, white linens, glassware, tables and chairs. Specialty wedding linens and chair covers can be arranged at an additional charge.
What about a rehearsal?
We can help with the coordination of a rehearsal prior to the wedding. Check with your wedding coordinator to see available times. An on site dinner after the rehearsal may be possible depending on availability. Contact Bill Sherman for specifics.
Do we need to hire a wedding coordinator?
We are happy to assist you with the entire planning process. We will also provide an experienced coordinator to be with you on the day of the wedding.
What about taxes and service charges?
All wedding charges are subject to 7% meals tax and 17% service charge. The entire 17% service charge is equally distributed to the food servers, and bartenders. Event planners or managers are not included with this service charge. Any additional gratuities for event planners, managers, or service staff are at your discretion.
